The Eva and Marc Stern Artist Award celebrates, supports, and propels the artistry of rising opera singers in the industry.
The Eva and Marc Stern Artist Award recognizes artists with deep connections to LA Opera and serves as an expression of gratitude for past, present, and future contributions to the company's creative endeavors. The honorific prize will assist artists with the many significant expenses required by a professional career in opera, including language studies, travel, coaching and preparation.
This year's $50,000 prize money has been divided between two outstanding artists: conductor Lina González-Granados and bass-baritone Nicholas Brownlee.
