Last year you studied up to play Jeopardy! (sans Alex Trebek). This year, you should pack your bags, fill up your gas tank, and get ready to hit those city streets because it’s time for a road trip, LA Opera style. But this isn’t just any old road trip—it's a celebration of our hometown and our milestone 35th season.
It’s all the fun of sightseeing around the city without having to sit in that famous L.A. traffic. And if you join us, you could win a pair of tickets to one of the shows in our 2020/2021 lineup (on top of having an idea of what our new season will be before our in-person announcement on January 26th).

Ready for the details?
From January 19th to the 25th, we’ll post a classic Los Angeles landmark with a clue about one of our upcoming shows to our Instagram stories. Each place we hit is related to one of our new shows, and it’s up to you to figure out what production we’re talking about. You’ll have until 4:00 p.m. each day to send us a DM with your answer. If you can solve all seven clues, you’ll get two tickets to a show of your choice (valid for select performances only) for the new season. The catch? You have to be following us on Instagram (and yes—we'll check to make sure you are).

Check our stories at 10:00 a.m. starting January 19th to see the daily clue.

DM us your answer directly on the story clue by 4:00 p.m.

If you answer each day’s clue correctly, you’ll be entered in a drawing to win two tickets to one of our shows in the new season. We’ll send you a message on Instagram letting you know you were entered into our giveaway after our season has been publicly announced.

Only one winner will be selected from the drawing at random and notified via Instagram DM by Sunday, February 9th. You’ll have 24 hours from the time you were notified to claim your prize.
